Dr. Jay J. Glickman received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from George Washington University in 1990. While attending medical school, Dr. Glickman also attended Saint Joseph's University at night and was awarded a Masters of Business Administration in Medical Management in 1993.

He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in 1995. He was Chief Intern during his internship 1995-96 at PCOM. He completed his family medicine residency in 1998 and became Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Glickman is affiliated with Aria Health (Frankford Campus and Torresdale Campus) and Nazareth Hospitals.

Dr. Glickman currently serves as the Medical Director of Independence Medical Associates and LoseWeightPhilly.com.   His approach to medicine focuses on regular preventive care as well as integrating physical fitness into the health care environment. He believes that medical care should always be delivered with respect and a personal touch while maintaining the highest level of quality. Dr. Glickman is currently a consultant on Independence Blue Cross Physician’s Advisory Panel and is a Heart and Lung Panel Physician for the City of Philadelphia’s injured Police Officers and Firefighters.   He was raised in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania and graduated from Cheltenham High School in 1986. He currently resides in Northeast Philadelphia.
 

Dara Aronow received her Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management with an emphasis in Management Dietetics from Penn State University in 1990. Dara continued her nutrition education at Frandkford Torresdale Hospital through Marriott Corporation to become a Registered Dietitian in 1992.

As a Clinical Dietitian, she has had the opportunity to work in both acute and long-term health care allowing her to provide nutrition counseling to a wide variety of patients. Dara is an active member of the American Dietetic Association and has been on staff at LoseWeightPhilly.com since 2006.  She was raised in Cheltenham and graduated from Cheltenham High School in 1986.    Dara married her high school sweetheart and resides just outside of Philadelphia with her husband and three children.

Dr. Dennis G. Winkelman received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of Scranton in 1990. Dr. Winkelman graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in 1994. 

Dr. Winkelman was Chief Intern during his internship 1994-1995 at PCOM.  He completed his residency in 1997 and became Board Certified in Family Medicine.
He spent the next 3 years in Hagerstown, MD, as a Medical Director of the Walnut Street Health Center treating a medically underserved population.  Dr. Winkelman has worked in the Philadelphia area for the past 10 years.  He was recertified in Family Medicine in 2005.  

Dr. Winkelman is affiliated with Aria Health (Frankford Campus and Torresdale Campus) and Nazareth Hospitals.  Dr. Winkelman has been on staff at Independence Medical Associates and LoseWeightPhilly.com since 2006.  He is a Heart and Lung Panel Physician for the City of Philadelphia’s injured Police Officers and Firefighters.   Dr. Winkelman is a native of Pearl River, NY.   He currently resides in Center City Philadelphia.
